Beautiful Sterling Silver ring with a small and elegantly faceted dark blue Sapphire. Suitable to wear casually, as fashion item or as an engagement ring.
All uniquely handcrafted at my workshop in Hessle.

Sapphire is known as the gem of the heaven and is also called ‘The Divine Gem’. Shades range from dark blue to bright blue, but there are varieties of Sapphire that are golden to reddish orange and violets as well. Blue Sapphire ranges in hue from pale to deep azure or dark royal blue or indigo, with the most highly desired colour being the velvety cornflower blue, also called Cashmir or bleu de roi.
The name Sapphire comes from Latin - 'Sapphirus' meaning “blue stone.”

Its symbolic meanings: Faithfulness, sincerity and devotion, make it a popular choice on engagement rings.
The Sapphire is known to grant spiritual enlightenment, inner peace and courage, used to calm mental strain, strengthen bones and promote a healthy life.
The Sapphire is the Birthstone of the ones born in September.

The ring is a UK size N ½ - inside diameter 17.1, US size 7 and EU size 54.5 which are immediately available. If you require a different ring size, please allow up to two weeks for me to alter the ring and fill in your ring size in the field above.

There is a small fee of £15 to make it smaller and £25 to make it large and up to 5 sizes up or down are possible. All my pieces are unique and when it comes to rings, you want to know the finger size, if it is for the ring finger, pointer, thumb, middle or the pinky, left or right or even for a toe. In most cases rings can be adapted and resized.
