Beautiful round Peridot Cabochon set in Sterling Silver on a super smooth wraparound-your-finger ring.

Due to its open design this ring will embrace your finger smoothly and it can be worn with the Peridot towards the tip of the finger or the other way round.

It has a light brushed effect finish.

Also, due to its open built, it can be worn on different fingers and is quite adaptable in size, please see the bottom of the description.

The Peridot is a lush green semi-precious stone that is the birthstone of August.

A Peridot doesn't get darker at night, consequently the Romans named it The Evening Emerald.

Did you know, the ancient Egytpians used it as currency and it was more valuable than Diamonds?

It is said that Cleopatra's favourite precious stone was actually not an Emerald but a Peridot.

Peridot is supposed to increase fidelity and love and is a symbol for truthfulness and friendship.

Peridot is said to be good for you if you want to become famous or successful in any way.

It belongs to the mineral family of the Olivines found in volcanic sediments and Meteors.

The Peridot in this ring is 8 mm in diameter and the shank goes starts out with 7 mm and gradually goes to a width of 11 mm.

The size is an N (US size 17) which is 54 mm inside circumference, but, because it is an open ring, it will fit between 50mm to 56mm inner circumference,

which is a J up to a P. (will fit US sizes from 15 1/2 to 17 3/4).
