This handcrafted Sterling Silver ring embraces a natural Colombian freeform Emerald set in a swirled bezel.
The Emerald has the most intensive green and it has been carefully faceted to do it justice.
The Silver ring has natural surfaces that make it comfortable to wear and resonate with the unique Emerald.
Due to its design it can be worn on two different size fingers depending in which direction it is put on.

The Incas and Aztecs, in whose former realm the best emeralds are still found today, regarded the Emerald as holy gemstone.
However, the oldest known finds were once made near the Red Sea in Egypt.
These were already exploited by Egyptian Pharaohs between 3000 and 1500 B.C. being referred to as the 'Cleopatra's Mines', and had been exhausted by the time they were rediscovered in the early 19th century.
In Emeralds inclusions are tolerated, in high quality fine emeralds can even be more valuable than diamonds.
It’s one of the genuine four precious stones the other three being the Sapphire, Ruby and the Diamond.
The green of the Emerald is the colour of life and in ancient Rome, the colour of Venus, goddess of beauty and love.
It’s the birthstone of people born in May.

This Emerald is 3.5 mm in diameter.
The ring shank is 2.2 mm wide.

Ringsize:
The ring can be worn two sizes, depending on the direction of wearing.
It can be worn as a UK size G (US size 3 3/4), which is 46 mm inside circumference and 14.6 mm inside diameter and
it can also be worn as a UK size I 1/2 (US size 4 1/2), which is 48 mm inside circumference and 15.3 mm inside diameter.
This is immediately available.
If you require a different ring size, I need about a week to alter the ring. (will be £10 extra)
