This is a U-shaped Rhodium plated Sterling Silver ring with a natural rough Colombian Emerald.
The casing was shaped around the natural freeform stone translating its actual roughness through the surrounding pattern.
The ring is smooth and comfortable to wear, highly polished and a unique statement piece.

The Incas and Aztecs, in whose former realm the best Emeralds are still found today, regarded the it as holy gemstone.
However, the oldest known finds were once made near the Red Sea in Egypt.
These were already exploited by Egyptian Pharaohs between 3000 and 1500 B.C. being referred to as the 'Cleopatra's Mines', and had been exhausted by the time they were rediscovered in the early 19th century.
In Emeralds inclusions are tolerated, in high quality fine emeralds can even be more valuable than diamonds.
It’s one of the genuine four precious stones the other three being the Sapphire, Ruby and the Diamond.
The green of the Emerald is the colour of life and in ancient Rome, the colour of Venus, goddess of beauty and love.
It’s the birthstone of people born in May.

The precious metal Rhodium is twice as valuable as Gold and it gives this ring a beautiful and longlasting shine and keeps if from tarnishing.

This Emerald is 17 mm long, 7 mm wide and 7 mm high.
The shank is 14.2 mm wide and 0.7 mm strong.

This ring is a UK size N1/2 (US size 6 1/2), which is a 54 mm inside circumference and a 17.2 mm inside diameter.
This is immediately available.
If you require a different ring size, please allow 2 weeks to alter the ring. (will be £12 extra)
All my pieces are unique and when it comes to rings, you want to know the finger size, if it is for the ring finger, pointer, thumb, middle or the pinky, left or right or even for a toe.
In most cases rings can be adapted and resized.
