DOUBLE PERIDOT | Sterling Silver ring with open architecture (sold)
- Available: Made to order (2-3 weeks)
- Unique No: 1588
This is a double gemstone ring handcrafted from Sterling Silver featuring two beautiful rough Peridots in unusual shapes.
Due to its open architecture the ring can easily be adapted to suit your finger size.
The Peridot is a lush green semi-precious stone that is the birthstone of August.
A Peridot doesn't get darker at night, consequently the Romans named it The Evening Emerald.
Did you know, the ancient Egyptians used it as currency and it was more valuable than Diamonds?
It is said that Cleopatra's favourite precious stone was actually not an Emerald but a Peridot.
Peridot is supposed to increase fidelity and love and is a symbol for truthfulness and friendship.
Peridot is said to be good for you if you want to become famous or successful in any way.
It belongs to the Olivine mineral family only found in deep volcanic sediments and especially in Meteors.
The ring shank is 3.9mm wide and 1.3mm thick.
The oval Peridot measures 10.8mm in length and 6.4 mm in width.
The round Peridot is 5.7 mm in diameter.
There was only one ring made and it will suit a range of sizes.
Please state your size in your order and I will pre-adapt it for you.
