POINTED DIAMOND | Sterling Silver ring with 9ct Gold details (made to order)

This is a handmade solid Sterling Silver ring with a natural rough free form Diamond with 9 carat yellow Gold sides and a rectangular shank.
The piece was created at my workshop in East Yorkshire.
The organic and natural look and its slight variations only adds to its uniqueness and beauty, which sets it apart from today’s mass produced items.
All my Diamonds are conflict-free diamonds.
What I find fascinating about rough Diamonds, is that, not only do they come in different colours, but they also each have unusual shapes.
Dark silver grey Diamonds, like this one, are mined in Australia, South Africa, India, Russia and Brasil.
Grey diamonds are get their colour from traces of the element hydrogen in their crystal structure.

The first Diamond engagement ring was in fact a coloured Diamond.
In 1477 Mary of Burgundy became the first known person wearing a black Diamond engagement ring that was given to her by the Archduke Maximilian of Austria, and so the history and tradition of the engagement ring began.

Measurements:
The free form rough Diamond has a diameter of 6 mm and the ring shank is 3x2 mm.
It is a UK size M - inside diameter 16.9 mm, 53 mm inside circumference, that's a US size 6 and this is immediately available.
