Fleur-De-Lis | solid 9ct gold necklace | with a hidden diamond (sold)

This is a necklace made of Yellow Gold with the famous symbol of the Lily called 'fleur-de-lis'.
Elegant statement piece of jewellery, solid 9 ct yellow gold hand carved fleur de lis pendant on a 9 ct yellow gold fine chain.
This pendant belongs to my series “Hidden Treasures”, where precious metal meets precious stone.
For this purpose, I have used a grey rough diamond, this has been inserted into the metal during the melting process.
The diamond is just beneath the surface at the very end of the pendant.This pendant has a 7mm diameter and is 2mm thick.
Fleur-de-lis has appeared on numerous European coats of arms and flags over the centuries, it is particularly associated with the French monarchy in a historical context.

It is a stylised lily composed of three petals bound together near their bases.
In French, 'fleur' means flower, and 'lis' means lily.
There are matching ear studs, too.
