These are ear studs made of gold with the famous symbol of the Lily called 'fleur-de-lis'.
Fleur-de-lis has appeared on numerous European coats of arms and flags over the centuries, it is particularly associated with the French monarchy in a historical context.
It is a stylised lily composed of three petals bound together near their bases.
In French, 'fleur' means flower, and 'lis' means lily.
