Peridot ring faceted Sterling Silver (sold out)

An 8x6 oval faceted AA Peridot Sterling Silver ring.
The gemstone was set on an elevated rubover setting, the shank gets gradually smaller ( 6-4mm).

Peridot has been called the "Evening Emerald", because it doesn't darken its green tint at night. Peridot Green is similar to the Emerald's Green but softer in intensity.
Peridots of 2 or 3 carats are expensive.
Any stones beyond 8cts are only collector's or museum pieces.
Two of the finest Peridot specimen can be found in the American Museum of Natural History in New York City and the Field Museum in Chicago.

A beautiful piece of jewellery that needs the following care: Avoid household chemicals, overheating and acids.

This is a size P, circumference in (mm) 55½, European size 15.
