Lizard holding green sphere | Peridot ear studs wax carved Sterling Silver (Sold out)

Cute hand carved lizard shaped studs in solid sterling silver. I just love these little ones, I set a round beautiful green Periot cabochon to emphasise natural forms with natural gems.
These beauties are 1cm long and 0.5cm wide, at the end of the lizard's tail a 3mm round soft Peridot cabochon.

Peridot derives from the mineral Olivine. In volcanic landscapes you can find rocks with Peridot encrusted. It is an important indicator of volcanic activity but can be also found in meteorites. Oraginally called "Topazus" by the Romans after an island in the Red Sea where it was found, the Greeks named Peridot "Chrysolite" - gold stone. In the ancient world Peridot was valued for its power to dispel terror and evil spirits.
