SEED POD AMAZONITE | Necklace in Sterling Silver (made to order)

This is a necklace featuring a AAA quality Amazonite drop along with a cast seedpod stem made of Sterling Silver, attached to a Sterling Silver chain.

The seed pod stem was found in the East Yorkshire countryside and was then cast in my workshop using the ancient lost wax technique.
This is part of the exclusive ‘I am organic - Collection’ which is defined by extraordinarily beautiful natural objects that simply deserve to be cast in precious metals for all eternity.

The Amazonite’s name refers to the variable green shades of the rainforest along the big river that are reflected in the gemstone.
This gem is usually cut as a cabochon, with a rounded and convex polished surface.
Amazonite does not undergo any kind of treatment.

This gemstone is a bluish green variety of microcline Feldspar.
Due to its colour this stone is sometimes mistaken for Jade or Turquoise, but it's much rarer.
It is said that Amazonite helps calm one's emotions, but its strongest power is to make life in marriage happier!

Measurements:
The Necklace is 450 mm long.
The seedpod stem is 45 mm in height, 10 mm in width and 35 mm thick.
The Amazonite drop is 11 mm long and 6 mm wide.
