These ear studs are handmade from cultured freshwater white Coin Pearls, each with two round, faceted Peridots set in 18 carat yellow Gold on 9 carat yellow Gold hoops or stud fastenings.
Coin Pearls are rare and rather than having the classic spheric form, they vaguely resemble a thick coin.

The beautiful thing about this unique pair of earrings is that the Coin Pearl carries TWO Peridots, one on each side, so the golden green sparkle can be seen from all angles front and back.

This constructon allows for the Pearls to be worn showing the flat sides to the front or to the side of the face, they are therefore much more versatile in their appearance, enhancing the elegance of the wearer.
