You're looking at an unusual open architecture double Amethyst Sterling Silver Ring.
It features a light purple large round facetted Amethyst and a drop shaped darker purple Amethyst in a Cabochon cut.

Due to the free setting of the stones you can see the beautiful reflection of the stone on the skin below.
It can be worn in two ways, showing one or the other stone towards the fingertip.
Also it can be worn on different fingers and is quite adaptable in size, please see the bottom of the description.

The colours of this semi-precious stone range from dark purple to hues of blue and pink-violet.
Amethyst is found in Brazil, Sri Lanka, Siberia and the Far East.
Since ancient times, Amethyst is believed to:
Symbolise deep love, sincerity, wealth and happiness, to strengthen the immune system,
help balance the body in stressful times and to make its wearer gentle and amiable.
The ancient greek and romans swore on its ability to prevent oneself from being intoxicated after a few drinks
and coined its name: Amethyst basically means ‚clear-minded‘.
Medieval soldiers wore amulets with amethyst to keep them cool-headed.
Jewellery with an amethyst is traditionally given on 4th, 6th and 17th wedding anniversaries
The Amethyst is the Birthstone of February.

The larger, light round Amethyst is 11 mm in diameter.
The darker drop-shaped Cabochon Amethyst has a size of 6x8mm.
The size is a N (US size 6 3/4) which is 54 mm inside circumference, but, because it is an open ring, it will fit between 50 mm to 56 mm inner circumference,
which is a J up to a P (will fit US sizes from 5 1/4 to 7 1/2).
All my pieces are unique and when it comes to rings, you want to know the finger size, if it is for the ring finger, pointer, thumb, middle or the pinky, left or right or even for a toe.
In most cases rings can be adapted and resized.

Use my ring size calculator (click here), or contact me (click here). I'll be glad to help you.
