This rhodium plated Sterling Silver ring holds a stately Amethyst in the exclusive quality AAA.
Its clarity, defined edges and radiant colour is remarkable and the eight faced Octagon cut increases its brilliance even further.
The Amethyst is set in a smooth ring body with round edges and has been highly polished.
A thin layer of the precious metal Rhodium on top of the solid Sterling Silver increases the shine
and saves you the usual occasional Silver cleaning.

Amethyst is a semi-precious stone whose colours range from dark purple to hues of blue and pink-violet.
It is found in Brazil, Sri Lanka, Siberia and the Far East.
Since ancient times, Amethyst symbolises deep love, sincerity, wealth and happiness.
It is supposed to help balance the body in stressful times and to make its wearer gentle and amiable.
The ancient greek and romans swore on its ability to prevent oneself from being intoxicated after a few drinks
and coined its name: Amethyst basically means ‚clear-minded‘.
Medieval soldiers wore amulets with Amethyst to keep them cool-headed. 
Jewellery with an Amethyst is traditionally given on 4th, 6th and 17th wedding anniversaries

The Amethyst is 10 mm long and 8 mm wide.

Ringsize:
The size is an O 3/4 (US size 7 1/2) which is a 56 mm inside circumference and a 17.8 mm inside diameter.
This is immediately available.
If you require a different ring size, I need about a week to alter the ring. (will be £12 extra)
