An AAA quality faceted Citrine (12mm) set in a claw sterling silver ring. This ring was handcarved by using the lost wax process. This amazing gem, Citrine is a yellow-to-golden member of the quartz mineral group. A deep golden variety from Madeira Spain can resemble the costly imperial topaz gem stone, which is one reason that citrine is a popular birthstone alternative to those born in November. Citrine is an uncommon variety of quartz that combines the bright clarity of quartz with the warm tones of sunlight. The yellow coloration is due to the presence of iron, is also responsible for the name, derived from the word 'citrus'.
The colour yellow brings clarity and awareness, symbolising wisdom.
The Yellow colour also means joy and happiness.
Each Gemstone is as unique as you are. On the Moh's scale Citrine is a 7 and has a Trigonal crystal structure.
